SUMMARY:  When prompted by the update center of available updates, select
update all; update completes. On reboot, options reflect new version 4.18.0-14.
 When selected, computer boots, display is active but is just a blank screen,
unrecoverable.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1.  Update all
2.  Reboot
3.  Select updated version
4.  Boot executes
5.  Screen active but blank scree
6.  Reboot
7.  Revert to previous version by selecting 4.18.0-13-generic
8.  Resume normal operation
9.  Running update repeats problem
