Bug ID: 378054
Summary: Baloo daemon crashing when saving new files
Product: kde
Version: unspecified
Platform: unspecified
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Keywords: drkonqi
Severity: crash
Priority: NOR
Component: general
Assignee: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
Reporter: benkopolis at gmail.com
Target Milestone: ---
Application: baloo_file (5.21.0)
Qt Version: 5.5.1
Operating System: Linux 4.1.38-50-default x86_64
Distribution: "openSUSE Leap 42.1 (x86_64)"
-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:
- Usually: Opening kate, texstudio, chromium, mozilla, dolphin, qtcreator, and
in kate creating new file, entering textx and saving (this almost constantly is
causing a crash, but this time I did other things)
- This time: Opening mozilla, chromium, texstudio and when navigating from page
to page on chromium it happened.
- Theory (please note I have no idea how all of this works :) ): When texstudio
is opened and new files are being created, something is causing a crash.
The crash can be reproduced sometimes.
-- Backtrace:
Application: Baloo File Indexing Daemon (baloo_file), signal: Segmentation
fault
