Bug ID: 382388
Summary: kubuntu 17.04 touchpad config not recognizing mouse
removed
Product: systemsettings
Version: unspecified
Platform: Kubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: major
Priority: NOR
Component: kcm_mouse
Assignee: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
Reporter: iambill at williamrosmus.com
CC: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
Target Milestone: ---
If I remove the mouse dongle (wireless mouse) the system is not recognizing
this. I have the touchpad configured to turn off if a mouse is plugged in. When
I remove the mouse, the touchpad does not activate. This happens if I do this
with with the laptop on, or when I turn the laptop off, have the mouse dongle
removed, and then turn the laptop back on. I had to go find a mouse to borrow
so that I could get into system settings and deactivate the checkbox that is
used to control this (checkbox: disable touchpad when mouse is plugged in). I
had removed the mouse before I went somewhere. This is on an ASUS ROG
GL753VE-DS74.
