This has been happening on every KDE desktop window manager, on every version
of Red Hat or Fedora, *that I have ever used*.
Every time I've iconified all the windows on my desktop, when I open a new
application, no matter what kind, ALL of my iconified windows re-appear.  Let
me repeat that.  After iconifying every window on my desktop, to have a clean
display *so I can open a new window/application* WHEN I open that
window/application ALL OF THE WINDOWS I'VE MINIMIZED RESTORE THEMSELVES.  I've
been entering this dumb question FOR YEARS on various KDE forums, and I have
NEVER received so much as a "Thanks for the input."  Can someone PLEASE tell me
what the heck I'm doing wrong???

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Use the KDE window manager
2. Start 3-4-5 applications, and then minimize all the windows
3. Start ANOTHER application, and ALL your minimized windows will restore
themselves, without any reason that I can see.

Actual Results:

Expected Results:  
A new window/application will open on your desktop.  I'm confused.  The caption
above this field says "What happened after you performed the steps above?"  The
caption BESIDE this field says "Expected results"  WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO ENTER
HERE?  Those two captions are requesting two different things.  (Sorry.  That's
just bad web page design.  Maybe THAT is why I've never gotten ANY feedback AT
ALL in all the numerous times I've asked this question in all the forums I can
find.

The desktop manager, (kdm), should stop re-opening all the windows I've
minimized whenever I start a NEW window/application.
