Work-around: I have to assign a folder to Dolphin and then assign a Samba
share to the  external media server disk to it using the disk.
Gnome/Thuar picks this up automatic as a cifs-share.

smb://sharedstorage-1.local>Vol1
smb://sharedstorage-1.local>Vol2

I have to remember to set this up again with each new release. Please help
to automate it?
