I recently re-installed Ubuntu 14.10 on my ARM samsung Chromebook with the help
of crouton.
I have as keyboard the spanish layout
Before I was able to use the spanish accents in any program.
This time I have realized that I need to strike twice to write the accent on
the vowel. 
I would like to fix this problem but I haven't found how.
The key ussually is placed in this layout is the one besides the enter. In the
US Layout has the " and the ' sings.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Kubuntu
2. Install the spanish keyboard layout 
3. Try to write some vowel with accent á é í ó ú (you will notice you need to
strike twice to write it down)



Expected Results:  
You should write the vowel with the accent just striking the key once.
