also one other thing... i could check during the bug reporting for duplicates,
but because the crash happened before all kubuntu components could load, dr k's
"suggest this report is related" button didnt  work... os i was forced to open
this new bug report... plase if you find this bug report to be a duplciate of
some other, can you mark is as such...
