The volume control icon is not shown in the system tray.  There is a blank
space for it but no icon. 

This is on some version 5 of KDE.  Apparently version information is no longer
shown on 'Help | About KDE'.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. boot the system
2.
3.

Actual Results:  
No volume control icon in system tray

Expected Results:  
Volume control icon should be displayed in the system tray when enabled.
