Bug ID: 339915
Summary: kded4 crashed during startup with "apt-get update"
running simultaneously
Product: kde
Version: 4.13.3
Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
Assignee: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
Reporter: periatabreatta at gmail.com
Crash occured during startup of kde. My system is very slow to start initially
(as the root filesystem is on an SD card) so is very susceptible to concurrency
issues. Therefore, many of the steps below may have been executing
concurrently.
Reproducible: Didn't try
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Started KDE from console mode using "startx" script
2. Previous session was resumed, resulting in a Konsole launching during early
startup
3. In the Konsole window, ran "sudo apt-get update" immediately after shell
prompt became visible
Actual Results:
kded4 crashed, with the following stack trace:
