            Bug ID: 339559
Summary: Disabling a display device created extended desktop on
                    primary device
           Product: kde
           Version: 4.14.0
          Platform: Gentoo Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
          Reporter: bugs at londonlight.org

The Display module in System Settings shows my primary laptop screen as LVDS-0
and my TV as HDMI-0. I run my laptop at 1920x1080, the native resolution, and
when I hook the TV up I set it as 1920x1080, clone of LVDS-0. When I disable
the TV by setting "size" to "disabled", I am left with an extended desktop on
my laptop by what looks like a pixel or two. When I move the mouse cursor to
the right screen edge, the whole desktop scrolls by one or two pixels. Same for
the other edges.

I have to open Nvidia Settings and change the resolution from 1920x1080 to e.g.
1680x1050, apply, wait a few seconds for it to change, then cancel to go back
to 1920x1080 without an extended desktop, every time I disconnect the TV. Very
annoying.

Using 4.14.1 but the version combobox doesn't have a 4.14.1 option.

Reproducible: Always
