Note that the conditions were not actually specified correctly
AND
--->NOT
--->ACTIVEWINDOW

Was the actual nesting (that is, it was invalid.)
When using correct nesting, the problem does not occur.
Perhaps there should be an alert if the conditions can not be evaluated?
