Sorry, firefox is not developed by the KDE Community, and the existing
information is not enough to judge whether the freeze is related with KDE or
not. Please ask for help and advice from ubuntu help channels (forum, mailing
list, irc, etc) to gather more information and have a better idea of what is
actually going on with your system and firefox . Close this report for now.

By the way, when you chose to create a bug report against  the bugs.kde.org
product, did you noticed it read "DO NOT report KDE bugs here" ?  :)
