Well, basically you need to do this in the shell:

$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kubuntu-ppa/ppa
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get upgrade

BUT, I'm not a ubuntu user (once was) and I never use LTS version, so I really
can't say that is the correct/safe way of doing it for a LTS version. Your safe
bet is asking in support channels of ubuntu ( like ubuntuforums.net, or
askubuntu.com ) .
