            Bug ID: 309325
          Severity: wishlist
           Version: 4.9
          Priority: NOR
          Assignee: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
Summary: Let user adjust brightness steps. Or make them
                    smaller.
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Linux
          Reporter: roberto.rc87 at gmail.com
          Hardware: openSUSE RPMs
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
         Component: general
           Product: kde

The actual brightness steps are VERY bad for some notebooks.

The steps are too big. sometimes they go by 20% each, and 20% on a good bright
screen is a lot!
Under windows there are a lot more steps and can always find the right spot in
every light condition.

Please enable somewhere a text field to input the percentage between steps or
make them 5% (like sound volume).

thanks

Reproducible: Always
