Redshift would be interfering with ICC profile internal vcgt calibrations and
thus invalidating the ICC profile characterisation. That interference can cause
quite some trouble for users. Typical a dimming of the display backlight is
much more effective and recommended, than heavily bending the white point
towards warm light through applications like Redshift.
