I face the same very annoying problem. After a few hours of work, kded4
consumes more than 2GB memory itself.

Is it correct if I run the valgrind command like this and provide the log file?

valgrind -v --leak-check=full --num-callers=50 kdeinit4 kded4 >&
kded4-valgrind.log
