Which IMF(Input Method Framework) are you using? I use ibus/fcitx everyday and
never encounter such problem.

Please try killing or uninstalling your IMF(just disabling it is not enough)
and see whether the problem still exists. If not , you probably should report
this problem to the IMF(not IME) you are using.
