I found those bugs/wishes related (not always directly) to disk space issue.

Some of them are very old, but I ran into the issue just today while updating
to RC2 (see invalid bug https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=290775)

It seems we got a warning when /home gets filled up, but I think we need a
warning for / and /tmp too.
