When new sub-menu items are created in the program, they often do not appear in
the Kmenu system.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Create a new sub-menu off the root.  Close KMenuEdit.  Check KMenu.

Actual Results:  
There is no reliable connection between what is seen in the app versus what is
seen on the desktop.

Expected Results:  
KMenuEdit should mirror the KMenu as soon as the user selects the "Apply"
button.
