Summary: After boot, screen resolution and keyboard problems
           Product: kdelibs
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: crash
          Priority: NOR
         Component: kded
        AssignedTo: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: sfurbo at gmail.com

Application: kded4 ($Id: kded.cpp 1031637 2009-10-05 16:58:19Z lunakl $)
KDE Platform Version: 4.4.5 (KDE 4.4.5)
Qt Version: 4.6.2
Operating System: Linux 2.6.32-38-generic i686
Distribution: Ubuntu 10.04.4 LTS

-- Information about the crash:
Starting today, there are problems adjusting the screen resolution. After
setting my screen to a higher resolution than the standard, there is a black
border on my screen. I can use the black border (moving programs into it
works), but maximising programs only uses the original screen resolution. When
setting up a second monitor, I cannot maximise progrmas there (they are moved
to the original part of the first monitor).

The keyboard is set to English, it used to be Danish.

The computer finds no WiFi connections even though they exist (this has been a
problem before, I dont know wether this has anything to do with this bug).

The crash can be reproduced every time.
