            Bug ID: 311797
          Severity: wishlist
           Version: 4.9.4
          Priority: NOR
                CC: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
          Assignee: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
Summary: Synaptiks Touchpad management should have option to
set xinput 'Device Accel Constant Deceleration'
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Linux
          Reporter: edwardiv1 at gmail.com
          Hardware: Ubuntu Packages
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
         Component: kcm_mouse
           Product: systemsettings

Touchpads are often too sensitive and adjusting existing speed settings is
insufficient, so creating a startup script with something like:
xinput set-prop 'SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad' 'Device Accel Constant
Deceleration' 8
is necessary. However, most users won't know how to do this, let alone find
that it is even an option. This parameter should be available in the Touchpad
system settings panel.

Reproducible: Always
