In my installation of Kubuntu 12.10, KE 4.9.90, the setting under "Power
Management / Advanced Settings / Lock screen on resume" doesn't work.  The
screen is always locked even if the box is unchecked.

I hope the downstream fix (a) fixes it and ((b) is available very soon.  This
behavior is a royal PITA.
