Since an upgrade Dec 5 2012 to 4.9.4 I have been experiencing lengthy waits for
emails to display.  Looking at system monitor Virtuoso is taking up 50% or more
of CPU time (on a quad core processor)  this crash has occurred several times
over the last 3 days.

The crash can be reproduced every time.
