            Bug ID: 298541
          Severity: normal
           Version: unspecified
          Priority: NOR
          Assignee: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
           Summary: Selecting next boot entry in logout dialog causes
                    previous entry to boot
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Linux
          Reporter: danaivehr at gmail.com
          Hardware: Ubuntu Packages
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
         Component: general
           Product: kde

I do not know what component to choose and i referenced bug to "kde".

In log-out dialog i can choose next entry to boot. Unfortunately, next booted
entry will be entry shifted by one. For example:

i have the list of entries
* linux 3.2
* linux 3.2 (recovery)
* Old linux versions
** linux 2.6.38
** linux 2.6.38 (recovery)
* memtest
* Windows

Now, if i select "memtest", windows will be booted. If i select windows, next
boot position will be dropped to 0 since there is no any entry after it, and
linux 3.2 will be booted.
It seems to be because of this "Old linux versions" fake entry, representing
group of old kernels.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Press ctrl + alt + del
2. Long click on small arrow on Restart button
3. Select last but one entry
Actual Results:
Last but one entry boots

Expected Results:
Last entry boots
