Bug ID: 297457
Severity: normal
Version: unspecified
Priority: NOR
Assignee: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
Summary: nspluginviewer crashes after changing the webpage when
using konqueror
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Linux
Reporter: geofpohv at savba.sk
Hardware: Fedora RPMs
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Component: general
Product: kde
I have reported this crash in a comment to the bug 286921 more than a month
ago, with no effect. I do not know why this bug (and many others similar) is
described as unconfirmed, although it appears on my computer every time when I
use konqueror and I change the subpage of certain webpages (for example
www.pravda.sk). It seems that the crash appears only on the webpages which use
flash-plugin.
Therefore I report this bug again; the kde version is 4.8.1 (it cannot be typed
in Version above (the highest version is there 4.7).
My computer:
board D845GEBV2
processor Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.80GHz
kernel-PAE.i686 3.3.0-8.fc16
kde-runtime.i686 4.8.1-2.fc16
flash-plugin.i386 11.1.102.63-release

I wonder that this bug is not considered: does it mean that people should not
use konqueror but some other browser? I prefer konqueror from the beginning of
using linux.
I do not know what is the exact purpose of nspluginviewer; why it cannot be
suspended when it only makes problems?
