The Phonon Xine backend is unmaintained because the upstream Xine libraries are
no longer maintained. Please switch to the Phonon gstreamer or Phonon VLC
backend in System Settings > Multimedia.

Additionally, update your KDE version to recent 4.6.5 or 4.7.x.

If you are still getting bugs with a recent KDE and Phonon gstreamer/VLC,
please add a comment or open a new bug.
