I should mention that after partial import I get the system message
"Lokale Ordner: Das Maildir „“ für die Sammlung „“ ist ungültig.", translated
to english "Local Folder: Maildir „“ for collection „“ is invalid.", obviously
it is currupted. The message dissappears once I delete the Imported-Mail
folder.
