The problem seems to have originated from Xine.
 #2  0x00007f5aa6666e51 in Phonon::Xine::XineStream::internalPlay() () from
/usr/lib/kde4/plugins/phonon_backend/phonon_xine.so

The problem is caused due to crashing of Xine which is not in active
development. Please mark this BUG as CLOSED.
