Summary: BlueDevil app does not send files when using the
                    taskbar panel
           Product: kde
           Version: 4.6
          Platform: openSUSE RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: a.skembris at teemail.gr

Version: 4.6 (using KDE 4.6.0)
OS: Linux

I recently installed OpenSUSE 11.4. I have an MSI USB-bluetooth adapter which I
have used in the past succesfully using Kbluetooth in OpenSUSE 11.3 and KDE
4.4.4. Now, in 11.4 (KDE 4.6) when I connect the adapter the bluedevil icon
appears in the system tray. After connecting the phone (LG GC900) via bluetooth
and authentication, when I select the phone from the tray panel and choose
"Send Files", the dialog box opens up, I select the files but nothing happens.
I get a notification concerning the file transfer but the percentage bar
remains at 0 and the file is not transfered. The phone's bluetooth icon also
does not change to the "transferring file" icon. I can browse the files using
dolphin's obexftp extension, though, and I am able to copy and paste the file
using that, which is a convenient workaround, so something must be going on
with the tray app. I have no idea which logs to post to help out, here is the
output of "rpm -aq | grep blue":

bluedevil-1.0.2-3.8.1.x86_64
libbluetooth3-4.88-2.1.x86_64
pulseaudio-module-bluetooth-0.9.22-6.9.1.x86_64
bluez-4.88-2.1.x86_64
libbluedevil1-1.8-3.1.x86_64
bluez-firmware-1.2-132.1.x86_64

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Insert USB bluetooth adapter.
2. Turn on bluetooth on phone.
3. Send file using tray icon of BlueDevil via: LG GC900 > Send files
4. Select file and send.

Actual Results:
The progress bar of the notification icon comes up but remains at 0%. The phone
does not receive the file.

Expected Results:
The file should have been transferred.

The problem persists even after successfully transferring a file using Dolphin.
Also, sorry about posting here, I was not able to find a relevant category in
the list.
