Summary: KDE not updating Date/time when resuming from suspend
                    or unlocking desktop
           Product: kde
           Version: 4.6
          Platform: openSUSE RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: peter at spuhler.net

Version: 4.6 (using KDE 4.6.0)
OS: Linux

It seems my system clock is consistently off when I resume from sleep even
though I have "Date & Time" set to update time automatically under the system
administration section of the control panel.
I was hoping that this feature would contact the ntp server every time the
computer comes out of sleep/suspend or the desktop/screensaver is unlocked and
maybe at some regular time interval as well. I get the impression that
OSX/windows/android does this and I never have the wrong time/date on those
systems.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Put computer to sleep. Low battery cause bios to forget time or clock looses
time. Wake from sleep. Time is just plain wrong.

Expected Results:
Expect kde to contact ntp server to correct date/time every time computer wakes
from sleep or network/wifi re-connected or credentials are entered to unlock
screensaver. Should periodically update time otherwise.
