My desktop works fine locally but when I try to connect from a Windows machine
with tightvnc the screen is clear and ok as long as kde inits. But when it
switches to the normal desktop, KCMinit crashes and the screen is scrambled
(title bars and the taskbar look like uninitialized video memory, window frames
are only dotted, there are no texts in the kde-menu (but icons are ok) etc.
I tried Tightvnc 1.2.9 and 1.3.10 on the windows client and vncserver and
tightvncserver on my ubuntu 10.04 server. I also played around with
tightvnc-options but the result is always the same.
