I have a panel at the bottom of my display which contains various things like
virtual desktops, date/time/, menus...

When I choose panel options -> panel settings -> maximize panel and then save
the session (probably not needed)... Restart kde. The panel settings are back
as they were before I made this change.

Expected Results:  
Settings ought to be saved and used for subsequent kde starts until they're
changed again...
