Summary: the rightmost monitor in a dual-monitor configuration
displays a strip of the leftmost monitor.
           Product: kde
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: dualhead
        AssignedTo: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: t551 at tamu.edu

Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.1)
OS: Linux

I am using a laptop with an external monitor. (Both are 1280 wide)

When I use OpenGL desktop rendering, the rightmost monitor displays a strip of
the left side of the leftmost monitor on its right edge. The mouse pointer on
the right monitor is invisibly offset by the width of this strip.

When I switch to XRender, the monitors display correctly, but the rightmost
monitor has a very strong blue tint that can't be corrected using the monitor's
color settings.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Connect an external monitor to the laptop, while using OpenGL rendering.

Configure the external monitor to be 1280 x 1024 and apply

Configure the laptop monitor to be left or right of the external monitor. Apply

The problem occurs.

Actual Results:
The problem described above.

Expected Results:
Proper display of a wide desktop, spread across both monitors.

Running Kubuntu 10.10 on a laptop with integrated intel graphics.

OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.35-27-generic
Compiler: cc
