           Summary: KKeySequenceWidget not capturing Ctrl+Shift+-
           Product: kde
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: owlbrudder at gmail.com

Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.5)
OS: Linux

I am using Simon (http://simon-listens.org) for voice control of applications.
I need to capture the shortcut key for OpenOffice.org Writer's shortcut for a
non-breaking hyphen, that shortcut being Ctrl+Shift+-. Simon uses
KKeySequenceWidget to capture shortcut key values. The widget forces the input
to be Ctrl+-, or Shift+-, but will not allow the full sequence. The Simon team
have asked me to record this as a KDE bug.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Try to input the shortcut combination Ctrl+Shift+-. This has been tested using
the Simon application, creating a shortcut for a voice command.

Actual Results:
The widget displays either Ctrl+- or Shift+-, depending upon the order in which
the keys were pressed.

Expected Results:
The widget should have displayed Ctrl+Shift+-

I am running Fedora 14 x86_64, using the Gnome desktop, nVidia graphics driver
and the compiz window manager. Simon (http://simon-listens.org) is a KDE app.
The shortcut causing problems is one of the default shortcuts in OpenOffice.org
3.3 Writer.
