Summary: Most of the text in KDE windows is unreadable after
resuming from suspend to disk (hibernate)
Product: kde
Version: unspecified
Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
ReportedBy: milimetr88 at gmail.com
Created an attachment (id=56853)
--> (http://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=56853)
A screenshot with a broken text (#1).
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.1)
OS: Linux
When I resume my laptop from suspend to disk, most of the letters in KDE
windows are broken - see attachments. This affects also windows created after
resuming. However letters in Google Chrome (tested only a window started before
hibernating) or gnome-terminal (tested only a window started after hibernating)
are ok.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start KDE
2. Suspend to disk
3. Restore system
Actual Results:
Letters in KDE menu, tooltips, task manager (I mean a bar with running
applications) and windows related to KDE (settings, konsole, kate) are almost
unreadable.
Expected Results:
All letters are displayed identically to those displayed before suspending.
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.35-25-generic (Ubuntu 10.10, instaled as 10.10 =
not upgraded from previous ones)
Compiler: cc
KDE installed manually using apt-get.
