Summary: Save session
Product: kde
Version: unspecified
Platform: Debian unstable
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
ReportedBy: mcjason at gmail.com
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.4.5)
OS: Linux
I keep getting stuck with a saved session because my system always crashes
before I ever exit KDE. so once before when I did exit properly it's now always
the same saved session when I reboot unless I exit KDE before my system crashes
again.
it would be nice if there was a choice of saving session at any time when I see
I have the right programs loaded. Or better yet, if you can switch which saved
session you use and you can make another one at any time, and keep it on a
single saved session.
Like, there should be a list of past saved sessions and you can make a new one,
and keep it locked on that one even if it saves a new session again and you
reboot.
or maybe you can pick any saved session and merge another saved session with
it, and pick which things go into a new saved session... like...
pick a saved session and another one, and make a new saved session with what
you choose to keep in both... and also maybe you can pick which things always
go into a new saved session and which things are left out... like I would want
icon tray programs to always be added, but not open program windows.
Reproducible: Didn't try
