If KWin crashes, please attach the backtrace of the crash. For more
information, see
http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports

If the X server crashes (i.e. if you are taken back to the login screen), then
it is likely a crash from the video drivers.
