Kolour crashed inside a VirtualBox Lucid guest while opening a screenshot.png
file made in a Maverick Meerkat host via Take Screenshot, folder share
transferred to a Lucid guest.
Reproducible: Didn't try
Steps to Reproduce:
The steps to reproduce are not fully realizable as the file that the crash
occurred with is deleted. However, the steps that lead up to the crash are:
In the Maverick Meerkat host, go to ~/Desktop and create a folder entitled LTD
In the Lucid Lynx guest, create a VirtualBox share by moving your mouse to the
top left of the window and primary clicking Devices -> Shared Folders -> Add
Shared Folder -> make a permanent folder share called LTD in ~/Desktop
Create a folder in ~/Desktop entitled 'share' -> type in the Terminal 'mount -t
vboxsf LTD share'
In the host primary click Applications -> Accessories -> Take Screenshot ->
Take Screenshot button. Save this to ~/Desktop/LTD
In the guest copy the screenshot.png to ~/Desktop secondary click the icon,
primary click Open With -> KolourPaint
Actual Results:
Kolour crashed and not attempted to reproduce.
Expected Results:
My expectations are just test driving the technologies and report bugs as they
occur. While formal developer training is not something I obtained, it is good
to report bugs as a way to learn developing, no big deal.
Thank you for working on this.
