System is OpenSuSe 11.3, Kernel 2.6.35, DVB-C card used is Technisat CAbleStar
HD2.
The crash is reproducible.  When starting Kaffeine and switching to any
channel: I can hear approx. 300 ms of sound, no image, then it crashes.
The crash always seems to be in xv_update_frame_format() or vo_get_frame().
Normal DVDs play fine.  Also, video capture from the DVB-C card with VDR worked
(at least once).

No other weird desktop behaviour detected.
