I have retried compiling 4 times,added gpsd geos libgeotiff all to no avail.
The compile falls over in the same place each time

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
emerge -u world,configuration completes ok and around 86% of the compile
succeeds

Actual Results:  
stalled with error msg

Expected Results:  
complete compile and installation
