Data CD not recognized with KDE : the contain isn't shown neither accessible
with Dolphin, the "new peripheral detection" plasmoïd don't show any sign of
activity when a data CD is inserted.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
insert data CD
Actual Results:
The DVD/CD player starts, stops after some seconds.
No activity in KDE : the CD is ignored.
The DVD/CD player is present in the list of hardwares in the local disks
management tool, but the CD content does not appear in Dolphin.
Expected Results:
CD recognition, automount, proposal of the list of applications to read the CD
by the "new peripheral detection" plasmoïd; Apparition of the CD in Dolphin,
and possibility to access to the datas .
- The Data CD are not recognized with KDE : the isn't Contain not shown
neither accessible with Dolphin, the new peripheral detection plasmoïd don't
show any sign of activity when a data CD is inserted.
- Linux bootCD are read normally (ie : Mandriva One)
- AudioCD are recognized and read (CD player seems fast)
- DVD are read
- The CD are recognized and read on the same system, using the GNOME interface
- The CD are recognized and read on other computers with Windows
- hal seem to detect the insertion / ejection of the CD
