Hi,

unfortunately I can't even tell whether this is a bug, or just a missing
feature I want to have.

Using the Kubuntu Live CD I get a brightness indicator similar to the volume
indicator as soon as you change the brightness (or the volume). It seems to be
consequent to offer this kind of "interface" for both volume and brightness.

However I don't get this with my Arch installation, so either it is missing
upstream (what was told me here
(http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=96515)) or it isn't working.

Unfortunately I couldn't find any further information on this, so I'll hope I'm
not doing everything wrong.
