after doing a dbus restart, battery monitor does not crash, but stops
reflecting battery status. acpi reports proper batt. status, bat.mon./power
manager reports the state before dbus restart. 

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
restart dbus, then plug in/out your ac power supply (only on notebook:) ) and
see battery monitor.
