I'm trying to setup some system notifications for global events like standard
question, warning etc. While setting sound files for eg. KDE startup/shutdown
or for specific application events (like KGet finished downloading file) seems
to work fine, global notifications are just ignored. It does not matter if I
set it to play sound, execute som eprogram etc. - it just isn't triggerd even
though in system settings I can push play button and the sound plays fine.

I'm not really sure if this is a bug or maybe something I'm doing wrong, but it
worked in KDE 3 and after I upgraded to KDE 4 (somewhere around 4.1) it stopped
and I was not able to find the solution since.
