In the geröman manual to kfind vers. 1.20.01 there is

  2. Dateien suchen   Search for files
       Die Karteikarte Name/Pfad      Tab name/path

Therein there is no mention of the possibility to have the hidden directories
shown in the directories dialogue by pressing F8. 

This should be added. I do not know whether the english version of the manual
is complete in this respect.
