Summary: configuring "keyboard & mouse" crashes all global
                    shortcuts
           Product: kde
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Archlinux Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: Martin.Torsten at web.de

Version: unspecified (using Devel)
OS: Linux

configuring "keyboard & mouse" in systemsettings make all global shortcuts stop
working. I localized the problem in the file ~/.kde4/share/config/kcminputrc.
deleting this file makes global shortcuts working again.

This bug occurred on a fresh arch linux install, KDE 4.4.5

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. go to systemsettings -> keyboard & mouse
2. configure your keyboard (e.g. "enable numlock: always")
3. save changes
4. log out
5. log in again

Actual Results:
global shortcuts and media keys have stopped working

Expected Results:
global shortcuts should still work

following steps fix the problem (for the moment):
1. $ rm ~/.kde4/share/config/kcminputrc
2. log out
3. log in again.

So this bug must occur while writing or parsing this config file.

(I have set kde to the german language, so please excuse me if some of my
translations of the mentioned gui elements are not right)
