Running Kubuntu 9.1 x64 all updates/fixes

Plasma crashes occasionally, restarts 95 % of the time (fast). Other 5%,
desktop is black but window effect ( in german "Arbeitsflaechenumschalter /
Raster" ) on my 4 desktops works.

Did install Nepomuk server/client as stated on the kubuntu homepage when trying
kde 4.4 rc2.
Nevertheless gives me a hard time. starts, doesn't activate index search (says
itself).

Kontact seemed to not have worked till i figured out that akonadi server (with
internal mysql in my case) is not running. Now i have to load akonadi manually
at startup (or with systemsetting startup) and start the server again manually
before being able to read my email.

System Load overall increased.. something happened to the sound system which i
can not identify.
When running wine - Civ 4 bts , i get multiple sound output, system drastically
slows down (which hasn't happened before) and desktop effects deactivate after
a while with nearly no improvement in performance.

Strangely despite above. The overall "feel" improved,
