I also suffer from this problems, at least with plasma-desktop. I use KDE on my
work computer, which I seldomly reboot, and plasma-desktop memory usage rises
above the 100 MBs. mark in less than a week.

I have this problem since starting using KDE SC 4.0 up to the current KDE SC
4.4.0 beta 2, in several Kubuntu releases. I'll be more than happy in offering
any help I can to solve this problem.

What testing procedure should I follow? What data can I provide?
