i usually install kde viaubuntu distro package repositories. I have found that
somehow, configuration files gor randomely wrong on certain installs and fail
to show the System Notifications option in the roll-out menu under system
settings>notifications.

as of now.. my laptop shows the option but not my desktop...

any fix to this annoyance?
