with KDE SC 4.4 the Unstable API broke BC. As Compiz does not yet have a
release supporting 4.4 it's unlikely that it currently works. I recommend to
either use kwin, emerald or a decoration which does not use the unstable API
(all but Oxygen and Aurorae).
